On March 28, Ambassador Malta Yu Dunhai was invited to visit the farm of the Visual and Non-visual Network of Malta and had cordial exchanges with Mr. Noel Farrugia, organizer of the Network and former Minister, Ms. Maria Elich, Secretary General of the Network, and its visually impaired members.

Ambassador Yu said that, with admiration, he was deeply touched by the frondent crops and abundant produce created by their own hands. The Visual and Non-visual Network of Malta helps visually impaired people to better integrate into society by supporting them to participate in art, agriculture and other activities, which resonates with China's values of equality, integration and sharing to help people with disabilities participate in the society equally and realize their own value. China looks forward to exploring cooperation with Malta in helping the visually impaired people for the benefit of the our two peoples.

The Maltese side expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for its support to the Visual and Non-visual Network of Malta, which demonstrates the valuable friendship between the Maltese and Chinese people. They look forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with China in relevant fields, and wish for greater progress of Malta-China relations.
