On March 8, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Dr. Helena Dalli, European Commissioner for Equality. 

Ambassador Yu introduced China's economic and social development achievements and said that China and Malta have a long-standing friendship. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 52 years ago, the two countries have always adhered to mutual respect and equal treatment, strengthened political mutual trust and achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation in various fields. China stands ready to continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Malta and promote new progress in bilateral relations.

Dr. Dalli spoke highly of Malta-China relations and expressed her appreciation for China's development achievements in the past two decades and the hope to further strengthen exchanges and mutual learning in various fields.
