On February 7, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai met with Professor Alfred Vella, Rector of the University of Malta. 

Professor Vella said that college students in Malta is increasingly interested in Chinese culture. The University of Malta has maintained close cooperation with China and initiated a number of popular programs including the its Confucius Institute and the Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine, which have become important platforms for the exchange between the young people of our countries and educational cooperation.

Ambassador Yu expressed appreciation for the University's support for the educational cooperation between China and Malta. China looks forwards to further expanding academic cooperation with Malta to promote our mutual understanding and mutual learning, and deepen then friendship between our young people.
