On the 9th of August 2023, H.E. Ambassador Yu Dunhai was invited by Dr Gouder, the CEO of Aquaculture Resources Limited, to visit the Bluefin Tuna Farm with Hon. Dr Anton Refalo, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights of Malta and Dr Alicia Bugeja Said, Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Rights of Malta.

The two sides commended China-Malta bilateral relations and agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of fishery and promote the export of Malta's bluefin tuna to China.
